Large amounts of supplies are necessary to properly care for the hundreds of animals at our facility. If you are able to donate any of the items listed below, you can drop-off them off when it is convenient for you, or we can arrange to have them picked up. Advanced notice of a week may be needed for pick up.

Special Needs Food Recipe

4 cans mixed veggies (unsalted preferred)
1 whole chicken or chicken pieces
2 lbs. brown rice

Boil the chicken & pull into small bite-size pieces.
Cook the rice per instructions on package.
Mix all the ingredients together & let cool.
Place in quart size Ziploc freezer bags 7

Pet of the Week

Cat of the Week

Bella (7 pounds, white with black markings) and Cupcake (12 pounds, black with white markings) are both about 4 years old and declawed so they would need to be indoor only cats. They have sweet dispositions and will be a little shy at first. The pair was brought to CARA because the owner has a terminal illness and her caregivers are allergic to cats.

Conrad is a male, 2 year old, Beagle mix. He is very friendly and likes to explore his surroundings.
